System Engineer / Administrator (gn) Linux/OpenShift
Location: Germany / Full time remote
Profile
You are responsible for operating, testing and developing an enterprise-scale server infrastructure.
Here you can successfully contribute your expertise in the design and administration of customized Red Hat
OpenShift environments as well as your knowledge of their operation and maintenance.
You are also responsible for the further development and optimization of the OpenShift platform.
You will independently analyze any faults that occur and ensure that the problem is solved in the long term.
You will also plan the use of new products and new versions, which you will implement accordingly, and you
will implement and design security concepts for the OpenShift platform.
The planning and implementation of changes as well as the processing of incidents and problems according to
ITIL are also part of this.
Also the documentation and maintenance of the assets in the CMDB system and the reporting of the operating
variables and the operating status.
In principle, being on call outside normal working hours (paid separately) is not a problem for you.
Requirements
∙You have completed training as an IT specialist in system integration. However, we also offer career
changers with relevant professional experience the opportunity to join the company. Several years of
experience with Linux server environments (RHEL or SuSe).
∙Experience with container technologies - OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, Rancher or similar. ITIL
knowledge is an advantage.
∙Certified knowledge of Linux is an advantage.
∙Experience or certifications in related areas (network, storage, AD, etc.) would be an advantage.
∙Personally, you are service-oriented and enjoy working in a team.
∙In addition, you are willing to continue your education.
∙Very good German and solid English skills round off your profile.
