They’re building high-performance blockchain solutions that bridge the gap between traditional finance and DeFi transparency. As the team behind Phoenix, a top decentralized exchange on the Solana blockchain, and the new Atlas layer 2 blockchain for verifiable finance, they’re setting the standard in DeFi infrastructure.
The Role
As the first full-time Infrastructure Engineer on the team, you’ll play a key role in establishing foundational infrastructure and DevOps processes for highly reliable, secure, and high-performance financial technology. Working on-site in New York, you’ll collaborate closely with a small, passionate team to ensure that production systems meet the highest standards for reliability and security.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement core infrastructure best practices and architecture.
- Build and maintain DevOps pipelines for fast, reliable deployment.
- Safeguard the security and operational monitoring of production systems.
- Collaborate on system performance improvements and handle sensitive financial technology with a commitment to five-nines (99.999%) reliability.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: 3+ years in production-grade systems, especially in Rust, C++, C, or Golang.
- Technical Expertise: Proficient with Unix systems, DevOps, and cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS).
- Mindset: Highly autonomous, with a proactive approach to exploring new areas, both technical and non-technical, while maintaining a collaborative, team-first attitude.
- Passion for DeFi: Excited to work with or learn about decentralized finance.
Bonus To Have
- Prior experience with blockchain (ideally Solana).
- Background in quant trading or fintech.
