We’ve partnered with an exceptional company in the fintech space. They’re building an innovative branded wallet solution that unlocks new growth opportunities for businesses, offering seamless and familiar payment experiences like the Starbucks balance, Clipper card, and Uber Cash.
What You’ll Do
Join a highly collaborative, fast-paced team where you’ll own impactful projects from end to end. You’ll design and implement high-performance, reliable cloud applications and contribute to a platform that’s reshaping the payments landscape for merchants.
Responsibilities
- Architect and develop backend services with a focus on scalability and performance.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, particularly in-person in the SF Bay Area.
- Work hands-on with technologies like Golang, AWS, and Postgres.
- Build and refine key payment systems such as core ledgers, money movement platforms, and merchant-facing APIs.
- Mentor team members and partner with designers to develop elegant, practical solutions.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 3-12 years building scalable cloud applications in a production environment.
- Tech Stack: Proficient in Golang, AWS, Postgres.
- Mindset: Passionate about fintech, with a drive to explore innovative payment models.
- Leadership: Prior experience in mentoring or collaborating closely with designers is a plus.
- Approach: A knack for balancing robust engineering principles with agile, execution-focused practices.
