R&D Project Manager

Location: Bournemouth, Dorset / Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days home)

Salary: £60,000 per annum plus 5% bonus and exceptional benefits package!

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an R&D Project Manager to join their team in Bournemouth. In this exciting position, you will lead and coordinate business-critical research and development projects, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and delivering results that make a difference.

Key Responsibilities:

-Lead multiple R&D projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with strategic objectives.  

-Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, to support new product pipelines and existing portfolios.  

-Identify and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans to address challenges.  

-Facilitate team meetings, produce minutes, and ensure timely follow-up on action items.  

-Resolve resource allocation challenges and escalate critical issues to senior management as needed.  

-Deliver regular updates on project outcomes and risks to key stakeholders.  

What We’re Looking For

Experience & Skills:  

-3–5 years of project management experience, ideally in a regulated industry

-Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships across diverse teams.  

-Knowledge of project management and Six Sigma methodologies.  

-Proficiency with project management tools like Microsoft Project, and advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite.  

-Experience creating detailed reports and presenting to senior management.  

Education:

-Degree in Engineering, Science, or Project Management is essential.  

-Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
