Lead AV Technician
Connect Group are working with a leading provider of innovative digital solutions for the automotive and retail sectors. They partner with blue-chip clients to create immersive and engaging customer experiences through cutting-edge audio-visual installations.
As a Lead AV Technician, you will play a key role in bringing these solutions to life. This is a challenging and rewarding role for a skilled Audio-Visual Installation Technician who enjoys working on high-end projects and delivering exceptional customer service.
Salary: £35,000 per annum
Location: Nationwide (You will be staying away for over 50% of the role)
Job Responsibilities:
·Installing and configuring sound systems, including speakers, amplifiers, microphones, and mixers.
·Maintaining clean and organized cable installations.
·Assembling and configuring equipment racks.
·Lead and oversee the installation of audio solutions at customer locations nationwide.
·Ensure adherence to quality standards, health and safety regulations, and project timelines.
·Collaborate with installation partners and manage service calls under SLAs.
Experience Required:
·Experience with installation and configuration of cameras, microphones, LED displays.
·Minimum 3+ years of experience within AV installations in a commercial field.
·Proven experience in installing and integrating audio-visual systems, including audio equipment (speakers, amplifiers), video displays (projectors, TVs), lighting systems, and control interfaces.
·Experience with installing and commissioning Q-SYS, BIAMP, and Crestron Systems.
·Ability to conduct thorough testing and calibration of AV systems to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
·Experience in proper cable routing, dressing, and securing to maintain a clean and organized installation.
·Ability to assemble and configure equipment racks, ensuring proper ventilation and cable management.
