IT Systems Engineer – EMEAI

Role Overview:
The IT Systems Engineer - EMEAI plays a vital role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the systems infrastructure across the EMEAI region. This position is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented professional with a robust technical background in systems engineering and a passion for driving technology excellence. The primary focus of this role is to support the development and optimization of IT systems in a newly established Warehouse/Operations Centre in Frankfurt, while also providing first-line IT support across the EMEAI region.
Key Responsibilities:
Systems Design and Implementation:
Design and implement enterprise-level systems and infrastructure solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business needs and develop scalable, reliable system architectures.
Oversee the setup of systems for the new Warehouse/Operations Centre in Frankfurt, leveraging Oracle technology.
Provide ongoing user training and continuously enhance systems and functionalities based on feedback.
Systems Administration:
Administer and maintain Windows systems, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and enhance configurations for efficiency.
Collaborate with the Global Technology Solutions team to align with corporate strategies.
Identify opportunities for process improvements to boost business efficiency.
Ensure operational continuity and provide immediate support when needed.
Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and network equipment for new and existing employees.
Assist in employee onboarding, including desktop and laptop setup and configuration.
Troubleshoot issues with operating systems and applications, offering first-line support.
Qualifications & Experience:
5-8 years of experience in IT systems engineering.
At least 4 years of experience with Oracle SCM, preferably with a development background.
Experience with compliance in areas like SOX, GxP, GDPR is an advantage.
Proficiency in Windows systems and Office 365.
Strong experience with Oracle Cloud.
Ability to plan and prioritize workloads with minimal supervision.
Good understanding of networking concepts and security best practices.
Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE, VCP, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator) are a plus.
Experience with Adaptive and Salesforce is a plus.
